Dots.. Dots Everywhere!!!!

Pointilism Insect
Pen on Paper
594 x 420mm
2006

As small as the size of an insect is, when you have an A2 size paper, you just have to enlarge it to a bigger scale. Projecting this insect onto a piece of paper is convenient if it was just normal sketching but this is pointillism where every dot counts.

Upclose Process of Pointilism
2006

Using graphic pens of various sizes has different effects during the process of completion. Not only the size of the dots creates the shadows of this artwork but the technique of knowing where and when to apply it plays a very big part in understanding pointillism.

Completing this piece was very fulfilling and rewarding even though i was about to see spots in front of my eyes.

Thanks for reading!
