Even the hardest material can be shaped into anything you want. As long as there is will and creativity.
In a group of 3 girls, we used quite alot of strength to shape the thickest wire for the structure of the main body of the Giant Dragonfruit followed by other various sizes of metal wires.
The project was to form the figure of any fruit. We decided on dragonfruit because of its challenging contours. The outcome was satisfying as the hard work was paid of with a successful stable form of the fruit.
The process of bending, cutting and shaping the wires were tedious and dangerous but we had fun at the same time. Though we had lots of cuts by handling the wires, we acquired different techniques from each other and we learned different styles from each members of our group. Cooperation and team effort is definitely necessary for making things possible within the time frame given.

With only 3 weeks given, we managed to put everything together as a group and got it delivered to school at Goodman Road for our mini exhibition in our campus for assessment for 1st semester of year 1 in 2006.
