A year after the Warm Orchids painting, another cousin was impressed and decided that they should get a painting similar to the Warm Orchids. So an opportunity not to be missed.
Painting on a large scale canvas is quite fun when you get to express yourself through paint and brush. I love using dark coloured backgrounds for the flowers as it will bring out the contrast and highlight more on the flower.
Painting orders such as these kind of decoratives are good start ups in gaining back my skills in painting.
